Jane Oriel has exhibited her work nationally for over 25 years in solo and group exhibitions on the East and West coasts. Her paintings remain in several private collections.

Her work in fine art, illustration, graphic design, private commissions, and public art has led to many unexpected and rewarding projects. Much has been created for community and non-profit organizations.

Studies were at Parson's School of Design, School of Visual Arts and Art Students League in NYC, Rhode Island School of Design and Woodstock School of Art, Berkeley City College: Mural Design/painting with muralist Juana Alicia, Relief Printing with Deborah Harris, Berkeley, Calif.

 


 

In recent years, life has required a shift of focus. As I return to work with fresh eyes, experimenting with new mediums has allowed for wider self-expression. This is greatly influenced by immediate surroundings and a changing world. As this body of work grows, I hope to share that here and in public venues.
